Message from the President:
As the newly elected President of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), Austin Section, it is both an honor and pleasure to welcome you to the website. The NCNW is a voluntary non-profit membership organization founded in Austin in 1946. The Austin section focuses on family and community as well as promoting health, education, leadership, and entrepreneurial endeavors for minority women and youth. We fulfill our mission through research, advocacy, community based services and programs.
Please visit the link for our 2007-2008 special events. The events assist to reach the goals of our organization while serving the women of color in Texas. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming section activities.
